Singapore has no lack of wealthy, capable, results-oriented, hard-striving, determined, astute, talented, intelligent, resourceful, shrewd and ingenious people.
The amount spent in a night hard partying for this particular person - equates to an average Sinkie's annual salary. But to them is chump change.
So if you can't compete, can't challenge, can't live up to a modern and developed city expectations, then you deserved to be out. You can be easily replaced, no excuses.
Don't give the excuse of serving NS etc to protect the FTs and new citizens. Many Sinkies also have this drawback, but still... many managed to overcome and prosper.
