Hi all,
I've been following instructions from this website (http://www.rationaljava.com/2016/10/...s-10-with.html) to install ubuntu 16.04 but the first time i tried, i got all the way to the installation wizard and when at the world map page, the installer hanged.
I then tried to go into "Try Ubuntu" mode to make sure i can get connected to WiFi, which I did, but when I tried to install the full version straight out of "Try Ubuntu", the installation wizard hanged again.
I realized that one of the steps I had to take was to changed the boot sequence and select a file called grub64 but I didnt have such a file and selected one called grubx64.efi instead. Also, like someone who commented on that website, I did not see the Grub menu upon reboot and instead I had to press F12 to select where to boot from.
In all however, I still didn't manage to install Ubuntu and was wondering if anyone has experience doing so and don't mind sharing with me what could have possibly gone wrong and if there are a set of instructions out there that worked before that'd be great. Thank you!
