Rashida Tlaib is one of the two Muslim congresswoman (the other being Ilhan Omar) who was refused entry to Israel over their call to boycott Israel.
Rashida has a 90+ year old grandmother who lives in Israeli-occupied West Bank. After the ban was imposed, Rashida Tlaib made a request to the Israeli Interior Minister to lift the ban so that she could visit her grandmother as it could be the last time they would see each other.

Israel granted her request on the condition that she will not promote any boycotts of Israel. Shortly after the request was granted, Rashida Tlaib suddenly refuses to visit her grandmother over the conditions which she initially agreed to adhere to.
