Need advise on PC monitor for gaming/movies

My current build was :

Main Processor - AMD Ryzen 3600+MSI B450 Tomahawk Max @ $476
Graphics Card - GALAX RTX 2070 8GB Super @ $759
Memory RAM – CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 3200MHZ CL16 ( 8GBx2pcs ) @ $142
Display - Acer Predator XB321HK 32" 4K 60Hz G-Sync IPS @ $998 at Lazada
Storage – ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB [NVMe M.2 2280] @ $255
HDD: Toshiba P300 3TB [7200rpm] @ $106
Casing - NXZT H500 chassis @ $119
PSU - Seasonic FOCUS PLUS Gold 750W [80 Plus Gold] @ $169

OS - Windows 10 64bit

Long story short. Bought the Monitor Acer Predator XB321HK from Lazada. There was a dead pixel in right middle of the screen. Decided to return the product and got a refund. Also realized that 32 inch screen was a bit too big for me as I was sitting quite close to the screen.

Any recommendations for a slightly smaller monitor that is suitable for my build specs? Mainly using my PC for gaming and watching movies/Netflix. Budget around 1K plus
