WTS USED Hermle Mechanical Moonphase Bracket Table Clock with Chime.
Up for sale is a USED Hermle mechanical Moonphase bracket table clock with chime that comes with the original winding key. This clock has a full mechanical movement and it is NOT one of those quartz or battery operated clocks in any way. Even the chime is mechanical and there are little hammers that strike the partial Westminster (Big Ben) melody progressively on the quarter-hours and will also count off the hours every hour. If this drives you or your family crazy at night when you are trying to sleep, worry not as there is also a silencing switch that will stop the chime completely at will. There is a 8-day movement in the clock which is genuine made in Germany by Hermle, one of the most established names in clock manufacture and that means you only have to wind the clock about once a week. I would suggest every 6-7 days as the clock slows down slightly towards the end. This clock also comes with a working moonphase movement and there is also a screw that can be turned to adjust the balance spring so that the clock runs faster or slower as required.
Note that this clock is USED and not new. There are some minor dents and dings on the wooden surface consistent with normal wear and tear (see pictures). These do not affect the clock's working functions and there is no serious damage to the clock of any kind. Note also that this is NOT a Swiss certified ETA clock. ETA doesn't certify clocks anyway but only watches as far as I know.
The clock is very similar to this model on the Hermle website except that it doesn't come with the side window :
