Xiaomi Cloud Subscription - non-China users can buy space or not?

I'm having trouble trying to subscribe to additional storage cloud space from Xiaomi for phone backup, since it doesn't accept SG based credit cards.

Anyone has any luck in subscribing successfully? There must be a thread about this somewhere.
