Yesterday night, my uncle rented some movies for my aunt and I to watch. Normal, yes. He came back, raving about this movie called: The Hills Run Red. He said he had seen it with his brother, (my father), when they were younger. The movie had come out in 1982. The movie that's out now, is about a boy trying to find the movie that had gone missing. The movie is fictional, but the facts are true. The Hills Run Red, the first version, came out in 1982, and everyone went to see it at the drive-in, but after that one playing, it was taken out of all drive-ins, and was never heard of again. My uncle said it was "gory, and realistic, nothing was fake" and "the actors went missing after the making of the movie." Wilson Wyler Concannon was the director of the movie, and he too was never heard of after the movie. It was said he wanted a horror film that was "realistic" in a sense. Wilson Wyler Concannon had the killer who went by "babyface" go completely into role. He had cut all the skin off his face, and sewn a plastic doll's face onto his own. Throughout the filming it was said the actors were actually killed.
The scary part about this is that's there's absolutely no information on this movie, other than the 2009 remake of it (it's purely a mockery of the 1982 version with some true facts). I've checked everywhere for anything on what happened, but I got nothing. There's no information on the 1982 version. There's no information on the director. It's as if the movie just walked off the face of the earth.
