Hi guys sry i am quite new here but i will like to ask about your opinions on this 2 laptops as i am trying to get 1 for sch as well as some casual gaming.

Also i asked the salesman do they have the HP envy as it was not displayed out then he told me he have it in the storage but he would recommend me to buy acer as nobody wants to buy the HP envy because he displayed it out for a couple of months and sales is poor so he decided to keep it in the storage. He told me the processor on hp envy although it is 4th gen but it is set on power saving therefore it does not perform as well. It is true? do anybody have any info?
Acer is priced at $1,298 and HP at $1,299 will like to ask for your precise reviews or do anyone have any other good laptops to recommend that are around the same price? Thanks alot.
