Cost efficient way from Osaka to Tokyo and back

Hi guys,

What is the most cost efficient method to travel from Osaka to Tokyo and back? Besides using domestic flight of course.

The JR pass doesn't seem to be worth it leh. I'm basically landing in Osaka Kansai Airport and will immediately be heading to Tokyo when I land. Same plan when going back.
