Jose Mourinho has proved an absolutely fascinating pundit to watch since his departure from Manchester United.
The Portuguese has been out of football since being sacked by the Red Devils on December 18.
The club very wisely introduced a clause in his contract that prevented him from speaking out about his tenure.
In recent weeks, however, Mourinho has been much more open about his time at Old Trafford.
In a wide-ranging interview with L'Equipe, he reiterated that finishing second with United in the 2017/18 campaign was one of his greatest achievements, while he also made brief comments on Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.
Mourinho says he didn't want to be a 'nice guy' at Manchester United because he feels that approach leads to becoming 'a puppet'.
Solskjaer - whose management style contrasts the spikey nature that characterised Mourinho's reign - won 10 of his first 11 games as United manager, with his instant success earning him the full-time manager's job on March 28.
But United have won just two of their 10 games since the announcement, with the Reds missing out on qualification for next season's Champions League.
And Mourinho says a nice-guy approach is only a short-term fix.
"Generally, the players can feel a certain erosion," Mourinho told L'Equipe when asked about his apparent third-season syndrome. "Especially when you ask a lot of them. When I say that the second season was fantastic, I say it because the potential and the objectives were met.
"Why? Because I really squeezed, like an orange, to achieve them. When you have a very professional group of players who are ambitious, hard-working and talented, at a structured club, you don't have that erosion.
"When you are almost alone, in that you don't have the support of the club close to you, while certain players go somewhat against the coach, who is the nice guy. I don't want to be the nice guy, because the nice guy, after three months, is a puppet and that doesn't end well.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino will go head-to-head in Madrid for the chance to lift the Champions League - with neither having yet won any silverware with their respective clubs.
As per the Mirror's translation, Mourinho first turned his attention to Spurs' Argentine boss, asking:
"He won what, what trophy?"
And he couldn't resist pointing out that Klopp has lost two finals in the competition, first with Borussia Dortmund in 2013 and again with Liverpool in 2018.
The Reds also fell at the final hurdle under the German's stewardship in the Europa League in 2016.
"I admire the work of Mauricio and Jurgen, both deserve to achieve something big, and there is nothing greater than holding this Cup, but one of them will lose.

It is my fervent hope and wish to represent Singapore on the Olympic stage. I want to bring glory to Singapore and repay my country for what it has done for me.

Despite having already spent a considerable sum on my training and competition, my parents have graciously agreed to help me pursue my dream one last time. I will therefore be heading to Norway for full-time training during my school holidays with my parents' financial aid and blessing. Till today, the STF has not committed to funding me at all. I have therefore chosen to go at it alone for my country. 🇸🇬

I am also immensely thankful to the Norweigan National Team 🇳🇴 for appointing me as a trainer for their participation at the upcoming 2019 World Taekwondo Championships in Manchester. They have gone above and beyond in also providing for my accomodation, relevant flight expenses, team attire and necessary license fees. How long did he take to train his body to be so solid?
Need some motivation from real Singaporean who are busy with work stress, and face the same kind of food and weather, etc.
My six packs is not improving. And I am meeting my ATBs in Beijing next weekends. I need one week of ZhengGePing workout to help me achieve the six pack.
Anyone knows his training schedule and diet intake?
Seems like he has maintained the past ten years.... Really respect his will-power.
