Before I proceed, I must list out these disclaimers, least people say I'm trying to sell you all some course, ask you all sign up, etc etc.
Like in any form of trading, there is no 100%. You can make losses and you can lose your entire capital. In fact, most forex brokers offer leverage, meaning you can lose more than your capital. This is also something true for people who trade stocks on leverage, just FYI.
Secondly, do not ever attend any trading courses and what not. As they say, those who can't do, teach. If those shifus are so great, they would be trading for themselves waiting having to collect course fees!
There is zero commercial agenda in this thread. This thread is created for Forex enthusiasts or potential Forex enthusiasts, by a Forex enthusiast. Trading can be a boring/lonely work at times, especially when you are waiting for the moment to strike. It is great to have companionship.
What is Forex?
Forex is essentially trading currencies, a battle of two currencies. You pick a pairing and decide which currency would be stronger.
This is why I believe Forex trading to be better than stocks. Now, this is just me. There are people who will say stocks are better, crytoccurrencies are better. That can be true too, but for myself, I like Forex more, which I will explain a little more.
Why Forex?
1. Forex is easily accessible to everyone. You can start trading Forex from as little as $200. And no, this is not due to leverage. You can open a Forex Brokerage account with just a $200 deposit and set it as no leverage. A lot of negative ideas are floated about Forex citing high leverage, but please bear in mind you are the one choosing whether to leverage or not.
2. Round the clock, 24/5.
3. More straightforward. It's simply a battle between 2 currencies.
4. Low costs.

In a crowning achievement for veteran gamers and tech nerds everywhere, Navy crew members remotely landed a 40,000-pound jet on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier using an ATARI joystick no, not that kind, but close.
The ATARI, or aircraft terminal approach remote inceptor, was successfully demonstrated for the first time ever last week aboard the carrier Abraham Lincoln when crew members used the video game-like system to control an F/A-18 during a touch-and-go, a Navy release said.
Youre effectively using little joystick controllers ... and its almost like youre playing a video game, said Buddy Denham, a senior engineer at NAVAIR and creator of ATARI.
Created at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in 2016, ATARI allows landing signal officers, or LSOs, to take control of an aircraft and make necessary corrections during recovery operations from up to five miles away, the release said.
In 2017, the innovation was added to the F/A-18, but until last week, it had only been tested on land.
There was some nervousness because the sea state was so bad, said Lt. John Marino, a pilot from the Air Test and Evaluation Squadron 23, and the first pilot to land on a flight deck using the new technology. Back on the airfield, testing was benign.
The deck was pitching significantly and yawing and rolling, said Denham. It was particularly difficult to land that day, and we showed its possible to use this system even when the conditions arent ideal.
